i agree to @joeyhatch11 that tank need something better...
keep something simple like a group of discuss and cardinals with big piece of driftwood very thin layer of sand and automatic water change 20% daily ... will be awesome... no extra care needs to be taken just feeding..
I am not really a fan of arowana and big fishes to be frank as i always feel anything less than 10-12 feet will not do justice to this beautiful fishes...
but can definitely think of arowanas ..
If i were in your place my preference would be as follows
1) discuss + Cardinals
2) Wild Caught Angels + Apistos + Tetras
3) Rainbow tank with Valsnarias
4) Low Tech Planted Tank with loads of lilies (red and tiger)
5) Black Ghost Fish Biotope
6) Goldfish + Big river Pebbles
sorry for hijacking the thread... but when you start the new tank do tag me along
Sorry Jack that was my sarcasm. Arowana love to jump. So it wouldn't be successful. Lol
It is full of salt water and will be plumbed into the main system.
The nem went in yesterday already I'm desperate for it to host my clowns.
I also picked up an rbta.
I have a small pair of davinci's that were in a cheap nem.
I put the little davinci's with my larger snowflake to teach him how to host.
Hope it works
All new to me.
No all the marine pure blocks were cycled in the 6x2x2.
I was adding more each week for 6 weeks before changeover.
Bio pellet reactor was in full swing.
The skimmer has been going a little nuts.
