Boy, as much as those things cost!..........

It makes me wonder why people swear by them. I know no wires in the water but what's the point if they have a habit of doing just that?

The MP40 and MP60 are the ones notorious for it, but the MP10s dont generally have that issue. I've got a pair of mp10s and I'll swear by them ;)

Freddie,

I think the wet side has been cracked for some time. The last time I cleaned the wet side was in Feb/18 and my decline started at the end of March.

I am with you,
Freddie, and I am looking forward to a health tank again

I will say that I have had my gyre 130's longer with out issue.

Agree, good to know.

I wonder if it is do to a smaller magnet??
That and the overall construction of the unit is Different. It appears the mp40s and 60s can be taken apart much more in depth than the MP10s

I missed getting a 130 by a couple hours on MD before they sold out when they went on clearance a couple weeks ago. Now I am looking around :)

Hey jsker I seen your post on sumps and noticed the cherry floors, how do you keep them looking like new with all that's going on. My wife wants the tank moved into the den which has a brazilian Cherry floor.
