That and the overall construction of the unit is Different. It appears the mp40s and 60s can be taken apart much more in depth than the MP10s
Mp40 breakdown:

mp10 breakdown possibly might have something to do with it?

I grew up in a family owned service station and "Buy the best Parts, do the job right the first time" (cry once) was pounded into my head, not to mention buy the best tools. so now I seem to go for the best or try. So yes I have a Mp40. So I will keep my eye on the magnet

Hey jsker I seen your post on sumps and noticed the cherry floors, how do you keep them looking like new with all that's going on. My wife wants the tank moved into the den which has a brazilian Cherry floor.

I have every thing up off the floor on teak stands so that the floor can breath and be cleaned. The DT stand is on nylon casters and can be moved and has been before I added the sump. I did use unions on the return if I still need to move the DT. Trust me when I say I am carful;). I laid the floors, we glued the flooring to the slab. The flooring is 1/8" Brazilian cherry 5/16" ply.

The floor has been wet twice behind the stand without damage since the stand is on the casters and lets the floor breath. The door are coming off, and new doors are going to be made to match the floor plus molding to finish the room.

The sump and AWC reservoir are both plumbed with drains, that lead to the outside. This means very little bucketing, and I have and overflow on the sump for insurance.

The family business training is the best. I also grew up with the same teaching. I also did not want to here it when I got home from my parents.;)

I have the beginnings of a water system directly under the den so that is an option, fill & drains, I will undoubtedly be getting the floors wet and was thinking a pan or mat, now thinking ventilation my be required?

I would suggest sealing the seams with urethan and should take care to the water getting between the seams. Remember, wood is always moving (expanding and contracting)and lay the floor that way.;)

Been so long since I read those comics. I used to love reading them everyday in the newspaper. Even bought a couple books back in the day. :)
