My 72 Bowfront Build Revised Thread

Been so long since I read those comics. I used to love reading them everyday in the newspaper. Even bought a couple books back in the day. :)

Hey, I remember newspapers. Are they still around? LOL.

Hey jsker I seen your post on sumps and noticed the cherry floors, how do you keep them looking like new with all that's going on. My wife wants the tank moved into the den which has a brazilian Cherry floor.

I picked up 10 ft of vinyl carpet protector for $10 at Home Depot. I cut it into a large and two small pieces. I will lay those around the stand (which sits on hardwood) while doing work.

My mother in law had those! I was sliding all over the place. Buy a beautiful $3,000 couch and cover it with an ugly $10 in vinyl. Great idea!

I would go to my friends house back in my Livonia MI days and the whole front room was covered, even the vinyl carpet runners. Nice people.

Geez I remember those THINGS! hot, sticky and when they started to crack, look out! In summer we would grab your leg and drag you across. almost a rug burn, now its cyberbullying, go figure

I wonder now if the vinyl was only on it because I was coming over? Hmmmmm....

I am big and hairy, a Caveman you know.
