Little update.
QT for Chalk bass is over, they are now in the main DT. As usual my flameback angel will give them a hard time for the next couple days. Awaiting my 6 vanderbuilt chromis for the last additions in the DT.
I decided to have 6x Bernacle blennies in my LPS system, that's it. it will fun to watch.

I have been thinking since christmass holydays about what do i do next... i clearly love this hobby, either i start planning for a bigger tank .. this project implies re-designing my basement to have a fish room and a larger tank. But larger tank means more maintenance, more time, more equipments. I decided that this project is for another time, even if i think that my system is small and i would love bigger, i like the fact that maintenance and time dedicated to the tank is not that crazy.
I decided to slowly replace my lower end SPS by High end SPS, as you can see in my past post i got several 'collectors' / Signatures Acro... my objective is to have my 85gal system dedicated to rare and colorfull pieces.
I listed all the Acro i have with the one i can confirm lineage vs the others. I had to do more digging for that, if i had a doubt on lienage... not in the Confirmed list.

My current SPS list:
Confirmed Lineage for Signature Acro:
ORA Turquoise stag;

Love your SPS collection and the aim of having highend/rare stuff is a great idea.

Just found this, what a great way to spend a Saturday morning, watching mine wake up (England) and discovering yours! :)
Great build and I've loved watching your camera skills increase. ;)

Hey buddy. This tank's got an awesome collection of SPS in it. Grow those babies out and you have a TOTM on your hands. :)

Can you please talk in detail about feeding?
- Do you feed the corals? What do you feed? How often/how much?
- What do you feed the fish? How often how much?

thanks, i'm pretty happy with the collection so far... but my tank is a small system and i started selling big colonies (again) of more common acro (formosa, red dragon and others) to make room for nicer stuff... but frag size and mini colony size. i will need more time again to see progress. it gave me the opportunity to rescape a bit and also ciment/attach rocks together, its was my first scape and i did not do it initialy... big mistake.

As for TOTM, i don't think i'm at that level, i have seen some of the TOTM build.... not there! but thx!

Feeding routine is simple, 4-5 times per week feeding my acro. i use acropower (2 cap full x2time per week), reefroid (1 tsp 2x week), oysterfeast (depends), homemade powder food (depends) + fish poop... but my bioload is low... that's why i need to do intense feeding. i also use microelement supplement for color boost. i probably forget some stuff on feeding... but that about it.
I feed 1 time per week my LPS with pallets.

I feed my fish with auto feeder twice a day, morning and evening, with pallets. I will complement most of the time in the evening (6-7 days/week) with frozen food, flakes with supplements, nori. i probably have 3 types of pallets, 2 types of algae, some powder supplements made with dryed stuff that i add to pallet or flakes, probly 3-4 types of frozen food.
How much, not a lot, my fish stock is pretty low, so i try to give what they need... i tend to feed a lot of the frozen food for my scooter blenny and mandarine.

I should maybe feed more, my N and P are always 0, i restarted testing N&P lately with the addition of my 2 chalk bass. i cut the GFO qty used by half, might remove it completly to try and raise my nutrient.

some shot i made lately:

Thanks for the feeding details.

I love how you are able to take the really good photos. Your corals are just loving the tank.

i also use microelement supplement for color boost.

Which brand and products do you use for this?

Thanks.

i use fauna marin color element. but as i say to other reefers around here.. it's useless if all the other parameters are not under control... i like to say it's the finish touch to get an extra edge on colors.
getting alk stable all the time will get more results in terms of growth and coloration.
