For my 40G breeder.

Using a Penn-Plax B11 battery powered bubbler to detect power outage and supply air until I can get home or the power comes back on.

Using uptimerobot app to notify me if it can't ping my modem (power is probably out).

And have a 800W inverter (Whole system pulls 630W full on) to run off my Tahoe if the power stays out long enough that I need to heat, light, etc.

Thanks for the help I received on here.

Thanks, I like it. Was gonna go the UPS route, but those batteries only last two years and it's not like they are gonna heat or light your system, etc. Plus, my router has to sit in my window away from my tank cause we live in the country and have a wifi internet service. So wouldn't have been able to use the ups to notify me.

Thought about a generator, but I don't have much need for one other than this (have propane heaters and oil lamps for emergencies). And I don't want another gas engine I almost never use to maintain.

This kinda solved my issues and was less than buying a decent ups. Plus the inverter will come in handy camping, etc.

If I go bigger I'll get a generator... but this will work with this tank great.
