Keep an eye on your temperature. Biocubes can tend to run a bit warm and seahorses need the water temperature to be 74°F or less to reduce the chances of a bacterial infection.

My wife and I have always wanted a pair but felt too worried if we could be a good family. Now with several years of the reef and fish hobby, it may be time to start that family. But first, is doing a bunch of research. We can use any tanks we have, either a 40g breeder, a 15g or 29g Biocube. More than likely the latter. I like them as Q/T and hospital tanks, as their all in one.

Good luck and enjoy, we'll be watching !

So amazing!! Love the setup. What did you add in the filter compartment in the back? I am currently in the early stages of making my biocube 32 a seahorse tank so I love seeing your tank and would love to know what extras you've added to the filtration (if any) or any other things you have found helpful keeping seahorses in that system! Thank you!!!
