If you dont mind me asking, what do you do for your daily/normal maintenence?

Check filters. Check corals for movement or irritation. Every 3-4 days check perimeters. Fill ato if need be. Empty skimmer cup. Clean off algae on glass. Can't think of any thing else at the moment.

Definitely will! I have a Purple bubble tip, Sun fire ricordia, Zoas, Gold hammer head, duncan, Leather coral, and Gorganea coming in! So excited and nervous first time caring for corals

Just keep up on the corals and the water quality. I also dose some phyto plankton and zoo plankton 2 times per week to help with coral growth and health. But you will be fine if you just keep good quality water.

Just made a post on it but my torch coral ive had for 2 days now is partially closed up one half looks really happy and other half looks droopy and ticked off. Is it because its getting used to my tank?

Give it a day or two and see how it is. If it doesn't get better, check perimeters and then lets us know what you got.

The torch was looking annoyed still and my guess was that half of my torch was in too high of flow because my powerhead on the top left of my tank was hitting it more than it liked so i moved it a little lower where my live rock is blocking flow and within 10 minutes it was fully extended check it out! My lesson out of this is sometimes all it needs is better placement!

There you go! Good observations can help a lot faster than waiting to see what an out come might be. I have had to do the same with many of my new corals.
