Sweet tank brotha! This one is gonna be awesome. The 24'' depth is a perfect depth. My tank is 72'' long x 24'' wide x 30'' deep. Wish mine was not that deep now cause I'm always getting my armpit wet trying to reach to the bottom, lol. Looking forward to seeing your progress, off to a great start!

Glad to see it sitting happily in its new home Marty.

Yeah me too.

I couldn't believe the weather yesterday while driving it home.

It was nice and sunny driving up to OBD.
Then the skies opened up when we started loading it into my truck.
Had to drain some water weight out of it before we moved it into the house.

Looks great Marty, looks like you got the gruesome twosome, Chad and D, to help out! Can't wait for it to progress!

Wish I coulda been there to help man! Glad to see you got it in place!

It all just kind of came together with the help.

Marlin, who lives not far from me needed some help moving his 210 the day before and also needed help packing water was a last minute addition, so it worked out for both of us.
We had suction cups that OBD loaned me, but because it was raining we couldn't use them.

Still debating on whether to go with double 45's or just use 90's on the returns.
Did some searches on RC and most of the people that seemed to know what they were talking about said that there was such a small difference between the two options, that it really didn't matter.

Well after a couple of delays I finally got all the plumbing done.

I used 9 valves, 3 of which were union valves, 11 unions, and 56 other pvc fittings.
Plus 50'+ of 1" and 1-1/2" pvc pipe.

Glad it all came together so smoothly for you Marty, beautiful upgrade with increased volume and external overflow. The only disappointment for me was that Eric (the real glass guy) was not there to build it for you............cannot ever forgive Mike for what he did...... just wrong.
Eric is finally mostly up and running now and thinking about having him build me a taller replacement for my 125g in the 175-185 gallon range. 3-sided low iron and of course the external overflows to gain some greatly needed inside real estate. Still need to have you up for a visit some time as well as getting a few of the guys up here for a 'Road Trip' down South to check out your new beast.

Cheers, Todd
