I’m making my first build thread rather than to post a barrage of questions as I go. I have a 125g drilled lagoon tank that I plan to make as a primary sps tank. I have a lot of decisions yet to make so I’m afraid this thread will be a work in progress. I have Marco dry rock arriving this week as well as an apex and 4 mp40s for flow. It will have a Fiji 24 sump with refugium. It will have a protein skimmer, GFO, carbon reactor, and Pentair 25 watt UV sterilizer. I plan to dose with Neptune DOS, and use a trident.
Some of my equipment and most of my corals will come from my 210g mixed reef that I plan to make a FOWLR tank. I think I will be moving some of the LPS and softies into a 54g corner tank - but that’s a project that I won’t be trying for a while. I’m attaching pics of the empty 125g, and a video of my current 210g. I need help with aquascaping, decisions on lighting, and eventually advice on how to best move the corals and equipment over with the littlest negative effect on my corals. I could also use some help planning a qt tank for corals that provides adequate lighting and flow for them so I’m comfortable leaving them in QT for the recommended time rather than moving them to my display tank early as I tend to want to do.

I’m not sure why my video isn’t going through of my 210g. Here’s two snapshots of the tank taken from my video. I’m not at home to take a new pic right now
