I wonder if they'd be good residents in stony coral tanks like mine where I'd love nothing more than for something to eat all the mushrooms but leave the stony corals alone?

I have not yet run across an article that listed SPS as a possible meal, but I've seen pictures on them on SPS. Could very well be a coincidence.

Are you saying I may have that nine year spider variety? The body looks pretty similar.

Can you see that one?
That's actually kind of scary looking. I agree with the face hugger.

The thicker variety seems to live longer, but I don't think it makes a difference as far as effects on one's tank.

For anyone else viewing on a tablet...Am I the only person that would not even touch the picture when scrolling through the post  I caught myself putting my finger to the side of the photo to scroll down instead of in the center of the screen like usual lol

I feel for anyone dealing with these in their tanks :(

After about 5 minutes of scrolling through pictures, my hair was standing on end. I love critters, but these guys just kill me.

Yeah. I have to say out of all the pests that I have seen, I like this one the least.

If I found that in my nano my nano would be living in the front yard. And I thought my polyclad flatworm was bad. Yeesh.

I found one of these on a Frag of zoas I bought off line! Thank god I dipped my zoas in peroxide before placing them in my tank! The peroxide kill the little devil almost instantly
