Hi all,

This is just a quick pic update on my new coral stock tank build.

I was lucky enough to get a 2nd hand 65x30x25 (lxhxd) custom built aquamedic tank for £450 including all sump and equipment etc.

Heres the tank when i got it..

some of the equipment..

I decided not to use the sump as of yet, mainly because it needs resealing, and i tried but after 2 attempts and still having a tiny leak i gave up lol. now im running it on externals and it has a massive tunze wave maker for loads anf loads of flow over the 6 year old live rock.
The tank is lit by a single 160W Maxspect R420R Led unit.

heres a few more pics of the progress..

I will be adding more eggcrate racking soon to make room for more stock.
Im also stocking a few fish, mainly large ones. im looking at a marine betta, a harlequin tusk and maybe an achilles tang eventually (when my wholesaler has them again lol). There will also be a shoal of anthias.
I will also be adding more of a sand bed for corals to fall onto and grow on.

Thanks for looking, and all comments welcomed :)
