That is so amazing. I think it's definitely worth the extra money to have a captive bred fish. Aside from reduced cost of travel, there has been much more control of exposure to other possibly sick fish in the supply chain, reduced stress and hopefully less difficulty in getting them acclimated and eating!

Will you give us a update.. And question, can you speak to the color...is there much yellow or is it blood red?

This was a couple of days ago, the colour is quite accurate.
She is about a 2 inch / 5 cm fish now and flits around the tank all day grazing and interacting with the other fish.

Fantastic fish! How has she dealt with the corals in your tank? My hope is that after a few generations of these being captive bred and never seeing a fish eat a polyp that they may one day be "reef safe" without caution :).

Update, he transitioned about 3 or 4 months ago, still no coral munching, colours are lighter than wild fish. :)
