My Maxima clam using foot to feed at night

I finally managed to get a photo of my clam cleaning it's base at night. I've noticed a clean circle on the clam base I 3d printed for my Maxima. I imagined that it was just light not hitting that spot, but it turns out the clam had been feeding with it's foot at night.
