yeah. I’m only okay with it because this should get me pretty close to back to normal.

and just set it. A piece of bone broke at a diagonal and has slid up to inhibit the second joint. So they need to get that piece back to where it should be and pin it. Good thing is I got in so soon. Doctor was thrilled that I was in 4 days after the break.

Well thats not too bad. Hopefully no pins or anything like that are needed. Just a small slice, reset it, stitch it up and call it a day.

Temp OK, perm heck no lol. Once that finger gets cold, it will stay cold longer due to pin. Trust me. I have lots of metal in me. I know removing the pin is a second slice, but to me, a few stitches and some more healing time is much better that a pin lol.

Father time is right though. I've got some gnarly surgical repairs. The worse are all the ones with metal still in there.

Hopefully it is temporary, and it's good you did get in quickly. With everything going on my hernia surgery has been pushed and pushed and pushed ;Bored.

They are pretty timid which was a huge change after qt'ing a thousand (felt like) tangs.
