Just got it all dry fitted, and wanted to show it off... It's been in the works since last year... I bought the tank at a Lfs swap meet event for $20... I think it was some kind of eheim, but it didn't come with the filter or light...I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it, but it took a year to find the time and energy to put it together...

I drilled the bottom in the center for the overflow, and used dry rock to disguise it...

I'm using a rapid led par38 on a dimmer, I got the lamp shade at ikea, and just using electrical conduit for the fixture.

The sump is a simple trash can with another container in it... Really cheap and simple. No skimmer on this setup, just using a good fuge and water changes

The return pump is a small external I had laying around...
The return line comes out of the backboard, you may see the bulkhead in the pic, I just need to add the locline.

Livestock plans are just my 2 clowns and some soft corals

Edit: going bare bottom

Thanks!
Luke

Nice looking cube, definitely think you should submit it into the nano contest.

Is there a locline adapter to go from a 1 inch bulkhead to 3/4 inch locline?

I know I could use a PVC reducer, but would rather use locline for a cleaner look

(Might have used the wrong bulkhead in my haste to get this done over the weekend...)
