My new Pet!

Well it looks like I won't be setting up a tank until the spring, so in the mean time I got my wife a new pet. I am by no means a cat person but I made a compromise for him as he acts and plays more like a dog. He is 1/4 wild asian leopard hybrid. His name is Koa.

he is 2, he came from a great family but they just did not have the time to give him the attention he needed-hybrids are a little more work than just a standard house cat but well worth it!

awww so cute. i really dont like cats, and am terribly allergic. but he is just awesome. how big will he get??

he has some serious paws and claws for sure but has never tried to scratch or bite us-he is really sweet, I am mildly allergic to cats as well-he doesnt shed though-he has almost like a pelt instead of regular cat hair. He sleeps on our bed at night and not a hair to be found in the morning. He is currently about 18 pounds and full grown.

My wife and I have bought one of these last year as a kitten. They are great pets and better than I thought. I too am not much of a cat person but like you said they are more like dogs in their playful attitude. These are great cats!!!

I've wanted a Bengal for years (your's looks a lot like a Bengal). A friend has one, and they are some interesting cats (don't tell them they're cats, though).

Hybrid cats are awesome. Here is a pic of my F2 Savannah. He is three years old and weighs 22 pounds. He can jump 10 feet high.

thats a great looking savannah, I considered a savannah F2 or F3 but everyone told me they were hard to litter train (but you gotta just love those Serval ears!). I will continue to tell people Im not a cat person because im not, hybrids are just so much different than a typical house cat! Mine only can jump about head level (6 feet)

Thank you, we love him very much. They can be a little picky about the litter box. Juma uses his just fine as long as you keep it very clean.

Mine is jealous of his markings ;), and he's a "hybrid" too, no Savannah though... Maincoon X Hungarian Mountain cat.

Sweet looking cats ya'll!! Do you have trouble with them marking around the house?? My wife and I were looking for an ocicat or another hybrid. But we were worried about them marking. We have 2 inside dogs (9years) and an inside cat (13 years) all good and house broken - We have lately had bad luck with getting 2 different kittens that after we got them we found out they had at least one ferrel parent - so they began marking inside the house and attacking the kids. So we are a little gun shy.
