I did a video last month, here you can see more about my reef and my sump. I promise that I will do a video in English next time

HOW can a tank be that clean? I just do not understand that.. I love that clean tank and just dont understand how that is possible.. was it always that clean or how did it look in the "uglies"?

We’ll just got to the end of the entire thread. Very interesting and an amazing tank. A lot of what you do we did way back in the 60s when “reefers” were people who were chemically enhanced and a scrubber worked street corners. None to very little in the way of test kits and a lot of trial and error. When I came back to the hobby I was fascinated with all this “new equipment” but soon realised that the best way to run a tank has changed very little. That and accepted rules where there to be challenged and broken. Your results speak to that. Brilliant tank and a work of art. Plus a gentleman willing to answer each and every inquisitive question.
The hobby alway needs self-effacing teachers and you sir are suitably qualified. I hope you manage to maintain your hard work during your house move.

Man, I have to tell you! It is what it is no matter how hard it is to believe.

I fight every day with Roberto Denadai and once we even raced for coral growth (I don’t have to say I lost like from 10 to 1). We fight so much that we became great friends.

Hello Sir,

I’m setting up a 280 gallon SPS tank. I would like your design expertise: how would you place the rocks?

It’s about 8 feet long. 2 feet tall and 2 feet wide

Hi Guys,

After five years of keeping a Fish Only, I just started a new SPS tank.

This tank has 50 days and I´m keeping my alk and ca just with kalkwasser. In 2 or 3 months I think I will start with balling ( tropic Marin ) plus kalk

My setup is :

2x Hydra 52
1x Hydra 26 HD
2x T5 Blue Plus
2x T5 Coral Plus

Nero5 , Mp40 and Gyre

Viper 3.0

Skimmer octopus 1000

Apex controller and I´m dosing kalk with kamoer.

No3 = 0 ( salifert )
Po4 = 0,03ppm ( Hanna )
Alk = 7,5 ( Hanna )

Hi,

I think you should use your imagination and think about what the aquarium will look like when it is fully filled with corals.

You have a great tank to start, try to find some tanks that you like and do something similar

Two islands is a good idea for example. But your rocks design should match the light position to maximize corals exposition to light for example.

Cheers

Is it possible to do SPS without fish?
since you don’t have snails, crabs?
