Ive always kept freshwater systems and decided to try my hand at saltwater. After a short 6 month stretch with a biocube 32 which I upgraded almost everything on it aside from a sump this was the next logical step until I can talk my fiancé into a much larger tank! This will be a mixed reef with hopefully some amazing sps

Reefer 250 deluxe with AI hydra 26
Reef Octopus 110-int skimmer (swapped out eshopps s-150 was way too large for sump)
Reef Octopus Varios-6 return pump
Dual Maxspec Gyre xf-230
Cobalt 200w heater
Rockscape by Jester6 with a small add-on from me for more coral space
Ran a marine pure plate in my dads sump for a month prior to getting my tank to help with bacteria growth

Have a livestock list?
The livestock that I'm moving over will be:
Bonded pair of true percula
Tiny yellow tang (about the size of a quarter but hes thriving, only had him a month or so in the other tank while this one cycled)
RBTA
cleaner shrimp
Multiple zoanthid colonies
3 different torch colonies
WWC bounce mushroom
Acans

the rest of the fish and corals I have already started to sell off as I am a little more dialed in as far as what I want in this tank and its placement,
have a long list of other corals and still debating a few different fish for this tank. Would like it to be sps dominate.

started moving some of the corals and livestock from the other tank over, most all the torches had to hit the sand bed till my nem finds his special place. So far so good, everyone seems to be enjoying themselves in their new and improved home.

also moved one piece of sps that I got a few weeks ago from my LFS. got it on a discount cause one of the employees had messed up the lighting and browned him out, but 6 hours in after another coral dip between tanks and looks to be getting some PE and the blues are coming back, noticed under different lighting some bright yellow coralites as well. Hopefully it colors back up nicely and turns out to be a steal!
