Also picked up a piece of that lifegard aquatics aquamesh green filter pad to put in between my return pump chamber baffles... I was using beach pebbles and it was clogging up like no other.. Id have to say this stuff is awesome... gonna be so easy to take it out and clean it. I like it alot... the green is coarse enough to stop debris and chaeto but still let water flow freely through sump... will have to see how quick it buikds up though... hopefully longer than pebbles, hahahahah... I bought the black too, but its way too thick...

Now I can actually walk around the room without tripping over something... Now I just need to get controllers and power supplies all organized... I hooked up the 2nd eb832 and also the ALD and all the leak probes as well. Put two on the floor and one in the tub I have my carx sitting... I also picked up 165 gallons of scripps water as well... thats whats in the blue drums... I really just like the difference it makes using natural sea water... I know this is a touchy subject, but I just see better healthy quality livestock when I use it... It will be nice having the water already made and ready for when I come home from work to do weekly small water changes... I am very happy!!!

So I registered the name last year and purchased the web domain name... My goal is to start up an aquaculture business out of my house... Really dont care about money, just wanna do it so that I can make the hobby more affordable, interactive and also assessable to those that live in or near my area... Ive really never enjoyed doing what I do for real work, but I enjoy reefing. So I thought Id give it a go and try doing something that I love and enjoy to do and turn it into a small business on the side... Im very excited. Getting logos made now... Trying to come up with cool stuff like “VOLT” packs and creating interactive volt meters that fill up when you make purchases so that you can load up the meter to receive freebies... of course thats WAAAAY down the line... tank is finally stable and Im currently looking to load up on livestock... So let the journey and the search begin... wish me luck... lol!!!

Took some more rock out of the reefer and moved it to the frag system... been moving a few rocks every week... Not sure if I wanna sell the reefer and get the IM 150 INT or put the reefer in the fish room and make it a zoa and lps only tank... craziness!!! Would love to plumb the reefer in with the frag system, but that seems like a very big pipe dream...

So, did some work lastnight and this morning... swapped out the ati fixture on frag tang and made my own connector for the two razors I have... fits perfect over the frag tank, 6’ with 9 pucks... perfect spread on the entire tank... took the mh/t5 fixture off and put up the t5/led hybrid fixture with radions on sps frag tank... and out the ati fixture on the reefer for now to see If I like how it looks on there before I take all the time to move everything... frag system looks much cleaner with matching lights. Pretty much good now with the frag system... its just organizing all the cables and power supplies...

Yeah buddy!!! Ordered six g4 xr15 pros today and picked up Aquaticlife 48” and 61” fixtures today... stoked to get these up on the growout... ready to roll son!!! Big thank you to Mike and Dave @AquaticLife... Really is one of my favorite brands, not only because their equipment is awesome, but they really do everything to go above and beyond for their customers... Never seen such hospitality towards consumers in this hobby like Aquaticlife has shown me...

So my plan is to swap everything in both tanks... Im gonna put all softies, lps, and zoas in the 4’ tank and keep the middle g4 and the outside g3s on that tank... more than enough lighting for that stuff... Im gonna put all new g4s on the 61” fixture on the 6’ tank... gonna get rid of frag racks all together... gonna put rock in the entire tank and start gluing all my sps on the rocks for growout... I believe this will be alot easier and the coral will grow better with the natural style flow through the tank off the rocks... ordered bulbs for the 61” lastnight... i got 3b+ 1c+ 1p+ and 1ABS... gonna mess with combos... as soon as I get rhe lights setup and configured I will start swapping corals... once ai have that all done, its the dreaded cable management!!!

Trying to figure out how to layout the radions... was thinking of having 2 g4s on the inside of the 48” fixture with the 2 g3s on the outside, so 4 total on the 48” and then 5 g4s on the 61”...

So a little update... Im gonna stop with the sps for now... ive lost way too much money and its just not doing well on my system. Its from using natural sea water. Its just not possible with that water... Economically using the natural seawater for my setup is the best... Its not a far drive for me and I can collect 200 gallons each time which lasts about a month... From the beginning Ive said i was gonna use natural seawater to establish my tank for an entire year then switch to synthetic.... thats still the plan... I really need to start getting some trades coming in... So ive decided to make the 4’ tank as a healing and show off tank for fresh ready to sell/trade frags and the 6’ for a growout tank... all my soft corals are growing like mad... Here are a few photos of some stuff... Let me know if your local in SoCal and wanna trade some stuff... Im always down

Well after a 5 month hiatus Ive returned back to Reef2Reef... been struggling alot with my mental health... sorry for anyone I have offended... been through alot mentally/physically the past year or so... ive ticked alot of people off... made more enemies then I have healthy relationships since Ive gotten sober... need to start working on being kinder/compassionate toward people and also showing empathy toward others... sounds like a no brainer, but not easy for me... here are pics of my room currently... lots have changed... excited to start associating with others on here... missed it

Spreading kindness is such a rewarding feeling. My motto is this: If you see someone without a smile, simply give them yours. Plus, smiling costs nothing.

I don't post much on here but I was following your reefing room thread from the beginning and it's nice to see it back in action. Welcome back sir!

PS - I like the paintings hung on your wall. That's super nice!
