Spreading kindness is such a rewarding feeling. My motto is this: If you see someone without a smile, simply give them yours. Plus, smiling costs nothing.

I don't post much on here but I was following your reefing room thread from the beginning and it's nice to see it back in action. Welcome back sir!

PS - I like the paintings hung on your wall. That's super nice!
So awesome man... You have no idea how much I appreciate what you just wrote... made my day...

You're welcome man. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you ever feel the need. Happy to hear you vent or help steer you back in the right direction. And if you want to talk fish, I'm all game. Stay focused and stay motivated man. You can't always change how you feel, but you can definitely change your attitude to how you react to something. When I learned to change my attitude towards negative things, EVERYTHING in my life got better. Literally, EVERYTHING.

Keep on truckin' man.

Ive gone the no water change method on my system... I was battling dinos and green cyano real bad... water changes weren’t doing a thing... So I bought another Neptune AFS so that I have one on each tank. I feed frozen maybe one or two times a month with it being soaked in selcon... I now mix one cup of the following 1tsp of reefroids, NLS pellets, then ocean nutrition formula one flakes and cobalt mysis/spirulina flakes... then I mix that up till the flakes turn into dust... then I add ocean nutrition formula one and two along with 3 types of reef nutrition tdo... mix all together and split the cup into each AFS... I feed two times a day with skimmer turning off for two hours during each feeding... Once I got a steady feeding schedule everything started to really settle in. The feeders once filled, last about two weeks without touching a thing... nice and convenient... I dose Seachem reef prime and trace 20 ml twice a week each on seperate days while skimmer is off for it to settle... run a carx to keep alk, ca, and mag steady... I have a huge refugium that runs opposite light schedule for 13hrs... also raised all my light fixtures from 12” to 18” and increased intensity about 20% on radions over a long span... running one purple+ one coral+ and two blue+ on the hybrid fixtures... Haven’t done a water change since October dinos/cyano gone...
current parameters:
Alk:8
Ca: 460
Mag:1375
Po4:.1
No3:20

So Ive been wanting to add another tank because im running out of room... picked up a used 75 gallon low profile tank... 48” x 24” x 14” the same exact dimensions as my other 75 gallon... So glad they match... this tank will be for mushrooms and zoas only leaving the 100 long as an sps and misc frag grow out tank. I will be using my white 48” AL hybrid fixture utilizing the maxspect razor r420r 160 watt led fixture I have... Should be more then enough for zoas and shrooms...I will be plumbing this tank inline with my entire current system... I will be plumbing this tank combined with the 100 gallon long tank... Will be swapping my dcp13000 for a dcp15000 for that setup... that pump will provide 1900 gph each tank, which is more then efficient... The tank was pre drilled which I haven’t ran into yet when building, I usually do all the drilling and everything myself... so this should be interesting... I only have 35 gallons of extra space in my sump for when the power goes out... Already simulated a power outage... the way this tank is the overflow holes are dual 1.5” bulkheads and they are drilled too low... If the power went out it would drain below those bulkheads and that would be around 20-30 gallons right there... So im gonna have to install a low profile overflow box to keep the max amount of water in the tank with as little draining when power shuts off... It has single 1” return that I will be splitting with two 3/4” VCA RFGs... This tank is made of 1/2” glass like my other tank... This tank had a 1/2” glass brace in the middle... I ripped it out and Im leak testing now... The tank should be fine with 1/2” glass 14” tall... Ill be watching it all day today... I will be re sealing empty spots on the tank after... then painting the bottom and sides of the tank to prevent light spillage... overflow should be here next week, I went with the modular marine low profile 1500gph silicon install model... ordered RFGs and I should have this thing up and running in no time... shout out to @AquaticLifeProducts for their customer support again... No other company has treated me with the gratitude you have shown me... and NO, Im not paid/sponsored by them... I have rocked their lights ever since Ive got into the hobby... Great business

OMG dude! You're a busy man! So much awesomeness here I don't know where to start. The split reef photos on the wall look amazing behind the tanks. I love these huge frag tanks.

Well after a 5 month hiatus Ive returned back to Reef2Reef... been struggling alot with my mental health... sorry for anyone I have offended... been through alot mentally/physically the past year or so... ive ****** alot of people off... made more enemies then I have healthy relationships since Ive gotten sober... need to start working on being kinder/compassionate toward people and also showing empathy toward others... sounds like a no brainer, but not easy for me... here are pics of my room currently... lots have changed... excited to start associating with others on here... missed it

Resealed tank last week... cleaned all edges today and started painting bottom and two sides of tank... I like painting with flat acrylic with a sponge roller to give it that flat finish... Like painting my tanks to hide coralline and stop light bleeding out into room... makes the tank really slick looking and hides overflow and plumbing
