My return pump isn't working I have to goto work and won't be home till later today anything I can do to make sure nothing bad happens

Depends on your setup, if it was me... I would move my ATO and heater to the display, maybe add an air line or two, again depending on your setup (wave makers, skimmer, etc: for 02). Not filtering the tank for a day won't kill it.

I agree with Cody.....as long as the water is being heated and moved around, it will be fine. The bacterial filtration is on your live rock inside the tank already. When I have a power outage, I run just those key items on a generator, completely bypassing my sump.
