So I got my package from the incomparable Morgan today, and everything came in in phenomenal shape. Opened the box, and Shwing! instant ric collection. Here are the all the shrooms I picked up today.

Obviously, my pics cant even come close to doing justice to the colors.

Thanks! I have a soft spot for that one too. I have to say that the 4th pic is probably my fave though. I can't seem to take any pictures that don't make the colors washed out. Any tips?

Thanks guys! I've been having a bit of an algae problem since I broke down the tank and moved it to my apartment so sorry for the scragglyness. The rics are settling right in though. Wish I could show you how colorful they are in person.

I wish I had good luck with my rics like you seem to have.I have only managed to keep 3 colors out of 7 in my system.

Hey! Looking good!! ;]

Glad they are doing well for you. You can try adjusting the white balance on your camera and if you have any decent photo processing program you can fix the colors a bit in that. It also has a lot to do with your lighting. MH and HQI's are the best for photos. VHO, T5, PC, etc all give off a lot of glare that makes the corals look washed out/pink/violet in photos.

If you're not already, try running some phosban in a media bag or phosban reactor to work on that algae.

Looks great tho! ;]

Thanks. I'll actually get right on that. I've been stepping up my water changes but it's only slowed it down a little bit.
