My SPS & Clam Tank

Bingo.

Now the only mystery left is how many…
10?
I will be watching to see what you get and how they do and what kind. I was thinking a "squad" of one of the smaller anthias for my 180 would look nice (if I ever finish setting it up lol).

These are terrible photos. I took them and put them in my notes after mounting them.

Those are quite some names, and wow, beautiful corals, digging this thread, amazing!!

They arrived! We had one loss, but the rest look really good.

I’m very happy.

Thank you.

I took a clam pic last night.

I might play with the light spectrum today to see if I can bring out the best colors from the anthias.

The Reefi has a lot of violet, and I don’t think I like it very much when all of the channels are at equal percentages.

I went with the lps preset and added more lime and whites to my liking. Visually I dont see the violet color but it does come out in pics. I also dont have any orange or red fish which might be effected colorwise with it. The orange corals I have dont seem effected by it though. Fish "skin" color can be funny with different spectrums.

I found a spectrum I liked today. Let’s see how I feel about it after a few days.

Many were hiding (normal.) They are eating well and look really healthy!

I had someone express concerns about ich being dormant in reef tanks. I personally never saw ich in my tank. Ever.

The next (and final) lot of fish are next. This 3rd lot is actually the most special. We saved the best for last.

The naso tang and pyramid butterfly I added a few weeks ago show absolutely no signs of ich. I’m very confident I am parasite-free.

That will be crucial for the next lot. 🙂
