My efflo is about to hit my insanity tenuis
I’m going to have to…frag my winning piece. This is horrible. I wanted to leave it untouched.

My yellow tang grew. It was tiny and translucent. Now it’s bigger and yellow. It’s quickly becoming the brightest fish in the tank.

My article is done, and I hope to release it very soon.

I showed a friend of mine a pic of my acro colony. He thought I stole that photo from someone else’s tank.

I told him it’s mine. Then I realized…do you know of anyone else who could have seven maxima clams around the subject???

Here’s the acro colony. The dude identified it as a Bill Murray, and I had two other acro pros agree.

Good question. After my clove polyp issue, I had to remount a lot of my frags, and I forgot the names/types of many of them.

I need to find out what I bought and try to rematch them. It’s only on that rock section. It’s bothering me that I don’t know the names and types right now.

You didn’t really think I would resurface and not throw you some grief, did you? I mean, what’s up with your tank? It looks horrible and I can’t believe you let it go so badly. And to think I always thought you were into outstanding husbandry with a heavy dose of OCD. Such a disappointment you’ve turned into.

Ok, seriously, everything looks smokin’ in your tank and I am not surprised, at all! So very cool to log back in, after about 3 years, and see you crushing it.

(FWIW - don’t know if you recall, or if you knew, I moved from Chicago to the gulf coast of FL about 4 years ago. We’re practically neighbors which, unfortunately for you, might entail inviting myself for an in-person viewing of your tank!)

Dude I missed you so much! Which hole did you disappear into??? I’m smiling as I’m typing this. I never met a reefer in real life. I mean, I’ve seen staff and employees at the LFS, but I never had a person from the forums see me. Are you sure you’d want to be the first victim?

It was more like going from one hole to another hole to another hole and so on. More on that at another time though.

Do you have a tank at the moment?

I just received my ICP sample. Everything was good, but magnesium was at 1,210 ppm, potassium was at 360 ppm, and the trace elements that Tropic Marin A- supplies were on the lower end.

I corrected those. I noticed the sulfate was on the higher end (safe) and chloride had room to go up, so I only used magnesium chloride (with no magnesium sulfate) to increase Mg. I used potassium chloride to get the K around 400 ppm.
