my husband and i were in the monterey area for our 25th wedding anniversary. we were able to visit the aquarium! what a treat! by far my favorite things were all the different jellyfish!

wretched. on my way home today i hit someone's dog. they had thrown a ball for it and it went out on the road. the dog ran out and got it and i missed that one but somehow the second dog ended up under the vehicle. im still feeling sick. im a BIG dog lover. i wasnt going very fast- less than 25. it jumped up and ran off thank goodness. but i still dont know if its totally ok. blah

That is the worst. I hit one with a truck load of scouts coming back from klondike one year. Was pulling a trailer and the road was solid ice. Dang thing ran out to try and bite my tires, i was only going like 15 mph but couldn't stop.

Unfortunately it happens. At my previous job, one of my technicians was driving to do utility locates for an upcoming excavation. While driving down the road, someone's front door opened and a dog went running across the street with a six year old chasing right behind.

There were multiple cars parked on the road and he never saw anything. Luckily the kid had enough sense to stop at the sidewalk. Unfortunately the dog didn't.

I misread this and thought you said, "if I don't get the prize it (Zuma) goes to my local dog shelter". I've never voted with more urgency in my life.
