Hey stick heads.
I love my hydras.
I also love they have Wi-Fi built in.
I love the myai app except the stupid wether.
you can’t turn the lightening off or simulate rolling thunder. It would be so easy to do.
they arnt interested.
soooo.
my question is.
has anyone removed all the children and set each light as a parent programmed the same light schedule or slightly different if you want just 1 light on in the evening for some effect.
then dim each one in turn for 10 mins so when 1 is dim the next one starts to dim and so on.
does it keep time properly and give the effect of rolling cloud.

When i had a director hooked up to the app the clouds and lightening were seperate. Maybe they integrated it for simplicity now on the newer HDs and 32/64 line?

The fix you list seems very complicated but im sure its doable as each light can be programmed seperately with groups.

It’s just a shame 10 mins is the shortest time frame.

the original hydra 26s (non HD) and devices prior had the rolling cloud function. and it was very realistic looking. i loved that affect. i was disappointment to see they did not incorporate that in the hd versions.

Yeah I read that somewhere. It’s annoying.

Ghl mitras has the best rolling clouds feature I have ever used. You can se the delay between parent and child lights so that the rolling clouds flow as fast or slow as you want. Super nice feature.
