Stuff, nitrates 10. phos about .05, we have progress, a couple of small water changes with grubby water has given us levels, I nearly did one more today and then stopped.
I knew I had some of the rubbish blue "floss" in the back so removed it and added proper fine floss, I will be testing once a week, I fed 0.5 ml liquid food earlier and about to do phyto addition 2 in a bit, because I am using it for a reason now I really need to watch what I feed and what the tank can deal with, I want to feed loads! ;)
Net out, I will take the scape apart to remove the convict (headed for the twins) and the jewel blenny (headed for the toilet), I can then do the scape properly and make some space.

I love the structure of coral and how they work, I need to study again, I need inspiring! :)

I have a tuxedo, but the only thing that’s spawned in my tank is a snail!

how do I achieve tuxedo mastery? All I’ve seen him do is take massive dumps :/

If they are taking a poop it looks like sand coming out of the top, they need coraline and algae greens.

He keeps my tank spotless, I have hardly any coralline at all. I try to feed him Nori but he ignores it, my cleaner shrimp will just end up shredding it.

are you saying the poop in my picture is unhealthy, or normal?

Nice timing Simon, the shop had 3 visits to the wholesaler this week, I unpacked the livestock on Wednesday for them and they did 2 runs today so by the time I got in at 12 this was already in a tank, very clear stems and there is a completely clear something at the wholesaler that they will grab for me next week if it is still there! :)

Ok firstly it is the same coral but now in the tank, it a gorgeous peach colour! :)
The base of the stem is wedged against that piece of rubble by the glass it was only attached to a few small bits, I figured out why, the reason I placed it like this is that the other side is a very low light side so it had fallen over and was only touching part of the rubble in the tray it was cultured in, I think?!
I need to figure out what it is @Dr.Dendrostein Kaplan in case I no need to light shelter it, it is already more than double the size it was in the shop! :)

Just turned the tank to evening blue only, it vanished from sight, this was just before, zero florescence, feeding I can do, I'll enjoy the colour during the day for now, it will be weeks to adjust properly to the light shift, it's body clock should adapt or it will be nocturnal! ;)

Ok, things I did, took my refractometer to the lfs to get it calibrated against theirs, I was one point off to them, I have dropped the tank from 39 to 36 in the past couple of days, and basically the same with the twins, I have re calibrated the refractometer twice in a week, might be time to invest in a Hanna pen thingy?! ;)
I added a power head, as the flow was rubbish. , this is front on, from my desk chair I can't see it! ;)
Because I have the locline returns I can tweak the flow, time to shake things up! :)

As you can see I removed the blueberry gorg today, back at the lfs ready for the chat with the ladies tomorrow!
I know which one is the technical one now, she runs the apex, I have mostly spoken to her partner, the focus will be shifted tomorrow, me against an educated apex user, what could possibly go wrong?! ;)

Stuff got in the way, added a coral after taking a pic, go me! ;)
I have a lot of hacked off corals due to the salinity swing, still 35 today and the carbon is 4 days old, might change it tomorrow, levels on Sunday were .05 phos. and 10 nitrates, if I am going to run the twins like this I need to be culturing my own phyto! ;)
