Today was a good day to give this tank it's own journal, a couple of things happened in the past 2 days that made it change.
I guess about 6 months old, it has been through a few guises, previous two tanks cracking and is 13 G - 52 litres running a heater and return pump.
It still has part of my original 9 - 10 year old sandbed in it! :)
People that know my tanks will sort of know it's history.

Yesterday I saw my venustus in my big tank chewing my nps, nps moved to this tank.
I have been growing out a chrysurus in here from thumb nail sized.
It swam out of the scape this morning and started chewing my nps!
It is now back at my lfs.

I had to remove the 3 main rock pieces to get it out so the tank got it's first 25% water change!
I didn't re-scape properly, as of now. :)

My tangs would love this, just life going on. :)

Now I have a dilemma!
Hopefully both dendros and the nepthya will recover, I can feed them still but I am now in less than 10% of the water volume, hopefully nps friends will join.
I need flow, I can do that.
My current thought is just to feed live phyto with small additional fine feedings, I can easily add more caulerpa.
I will get nitrate and phos readings over the weekend so I have a datum.

Jewel blenny and added a swalesi basslet today so the jewel has company.
Tuxedo urchin, astrea snail, some dwarf blue leg hermits, conch and dove snails.
This could get ugly very quickly! ;)

The reason I tagged @Katrina71 is because she knows a lot of team Katrina might like this! ;)

Gotta love things a touch grubby! ;)

So make sure it's in an area with good flow. And just leave them if it's more than one Carnation Coral alone and feed as you have been. I've had some Carnation corals that in the past died and a little bit of the stalk was on the Rock that carnation coral was on and right now I have three little polyps coming up.

If conditions are right food, flow, filtration. They will bounce back how much time will tell

Lights just on.
They are all against the glass due to catching the fish out yesterday so not enough flow, I will move them all later.
They are opening up, I will update later. :)

I love a dirty little tank!

I need to figure out how to feed the nps because there is so little water volume, I'm considering going mainly phyto going forward, I will position the corals again later so they can settle again and take it from there. :)

Stuff we did today!
I went to my lfs earlier to pick up phyto and salt mix.
I sit down with a drink to chill a bit and watched the flame angel swim up to my black sun coral and bite it, bite like 3 or 4 bites!
In a food dip on their way in here! ;)

Ok, back to the rest, everything is settling ok but the aminos I added yesterday, 2 drops has set my cyano off a bit, I will be mostly phyto only from today with odd treats!
Yellow fine, settling the best, :)
