Little girl rescue in from an lfs I visit sometimes, the other 4 were already past it as they had stopped hunting.
It took her about half an hour to settle but now she is off hunting and pecking now, fingers crossed. :)

I don't remember what it is now but yes a fine sort of gravel, due to the previous tank leak it was what they had in at the time, I saved most of the original sandbed so there is about a half inch or so of that and then about 3/4 of an inch of the new stuff.
