Name of this torch ?

The guy iam getting it from calls it the black light torch. Is that the correct name or is it called something else?

Its a Euphyllia glabrescens, black light torch is the vendor name.. You can call it what ever you want, but its a torch coral. As long as you are getting a good price and you know its true ID, i wouldn't be concerned about the vendor name.

Ive got a couple of ZOA's that my friends eyes glaze over when I tell them the names. I love to get my reefing geek on .

That looks like the normal purple torch that is still being imported. Aqua Nerd did an article awhile back https://aquanerd.com/2017/05/featured-coral-of-the-week-52217-black-torch-coral.html The Black Torch from the article is Indonesian and has big fat head. See how on the pictures posted here that the tip color seems to travel down the tenticle a bit. Look at pictures of original black torch the tip color does not bleed down the tenticle. It is yellow/green ball on the end of a dark purple tentacle. Granted the price is great. Euphyllia has skyrocked in price with the whole shut down of Indonesia.
