Hey guys i am currently working on producing a new type of upflow algae scrubber that doubles as a skimmer and even a safe haven for pods it uses an airpump (connected to a bubbler not shown in the drawing) tell me what you think :) ill take the good the bad and the ugly

I guess it would work. Might be a lot of adjustments as algae grows, then you clean it and have to dail it in again. Interesting idea for sure.

it's not the best "skimmer" but it does pull skimmate as far as algae goes people tend to forget that the bubbles themselves create turbidity think of bubbles being thruster to the top of the water smacking each other on the way up ...a skimmer body is always a turbulent area algae or not and like I said it's not the best skimmer but I 100% believe it's the best scrubber

Like I said it's mostly for a nano tank which always fall victim to inconsistent water levels due to evaporation so skimmers are rarely run the same on a daily basis already
