euphyllia shrinks its tentacles and closes up at night.

yeah, partially under a rock overhang.

lighting is detailed in the thread, but it is the OEM LED hood lighting in the hood plus a 15" blue ReefBrite LED bar.

I'm hoping the clowns will host in the RBTA before the torches, but they don't seem to be interested in either. yet.

Yeah my old torch had crazy polyp extension, some were more than 4" long. My clowns hosted in it and before I got rid of it they were really starting to irritate sections of it.

though that's a piece i had ordered from ian for a local friend, and was only holding it in my tank until he could pick it up. i am going to have to get one for myself, though - under the blue leds (as pictured) it looks amazing!

nah, just a purple w/ green tentacles. the purple looks blue under the blue leds, just like the picture shows.

but i agree - i want one of the 3-color ones. no doubt!

real estate is already becoming scarce...

thanks!

the tank retails for 749 locally and the store had a 10% off sale, so 675 with stand. I believe brs sells them, too, for less...plus shipping.

so far I'm really happy with it!

Looking great! Which frags did you add today? Also when will the corals you are babysitting be going to their new homes?
