Thanks. I was reading somewhere that 2-4/gal was recommended...I've got wayyy to many. Anyone in the SoCal area need snails?? lol

i have been told 1 snail per gallon as the general rule...

There are no rules. A cleaner tank will need less snails, a dirtier tank more. Use a lot of guess work. ;)

I have close to 35 snails in my tank
All different types. Turbos mexican margaritas nassarius natarius bubble bee queen conch...

Yea, if you get to many, most of the times people will get those reef cleaner packs, the snails starve out because the tank is now to clean.
