Who do you have in the Final Four? Ive got Florida, Pittsburgh, North Carolina and Memphis with North Carolina winning.

the ACC teams are a big uknown going into the final four. i think the ACC is very good, but they've beat each other up all season and i dont think any of them are in any shape physically to make a final four run. so you'll either see them all get blown out early, or they'll make a final four run with the momentum they've gotten from lots of last minute battles all season. all the teams are a big unknown in my eyes....except UVA...they will get blown out fast.
i dont think UNC will make the final four for a couple reasons, one being a very good georgetown team in their bracket, and two...a very good texas team. three would be their lack of experience in their starters. they start 3 to 4 freshman every game, and VT proved to them twice that those freshman dont have the experience in big time games with loud crowds and alot of pressure on the line against senior guards, or a team with alot of veterans coming off the bench. they are good, but lack in experience, esspecially with tyler hansboro not at 100%.
everyone was saying maryland was "hot" in the later part of the regular season. eh, its all hype, yeah they did knock off some good teams b/c they had a good run. they are about average with the rest of the ACC pack...including VT, UVA, NCState. and remember maryland lost to freakin Miami in the first round of the ACC tourney...pittiful. i think they lost their momentum in that great run they had at the end of the season.
my big upset team is VT. they will either get blown out in the first or second round, or make a run over kansas and ucla.
my final four would be georgetown, ohio state, ucla, and florida...with ohio state taking it all.

maryland barely pulled that off. but davidson only had 1 player going for them, without curry, they would have been blown away.
but how bout those VCU rams!!! ;) that game was brutal, every couple minutes a guy came off the court bleeding.

wow, that VT vs. Illinois was a sloppy game. refs gave a new meaning to "letting them play" without calling many fouls (on Illinois at least).

that ohio state game was CRAZY!!!
I was glad VCU beat Duke b/c they are a classic underdog. But I'm glad Pitt beat VCU. VCU's team is full of thugs, watching them play reminded me of streat ball...lol Plus that one guy had a huge attitude and needed to be set straight.
Yeah, but its not as high scoring as UT's first game... But UVA has a deffense where as Long Beach State does not...
I'm surprised VaTech pulled it out against Illinois... I missed the end, I was watching, but stopped paying attention, then looked up and VaTech had won... You're from Blacksberg right??? How's the reefing in that area??? I drive past Christiansburg on my way up to CT...

yeah, VT was off all game until the final 5min when they started the full court press. then Illinois just collapsed and VT all of a sudden woke up and started stealing the ball on fast breaks and making shots.
the reefing is blacksburg/christiansburg is ok. we aren't a big city, and have relied on a small sketchy LFS for a long time. the fun thing is we have about about 2 dozen members in our club, and since the town is so small, everyone lives within 10min max of each other. so every know and then we have reef "crawls", we go from place to place looking at everyone's tanks one evening, and have a beer at each place. lol
we are fortunate that we got a saltwater specialty store that opened up in roanoke just recently. the guy has some of the best selection that could be offered by any saltwater store. then theres also a top notch saltwater store in richmond, 3.5hrs away.

They've got their work cut out for them, but I think they could do it... They should have won the first game, but had some unfortunate ref calls and missed some key free throws... We'll see tonight!!!!!

Did you watch last weeks game agains Xavier??? If that guy didn't miss the last free throw in regulation, Ohio State would be sitting in Columbus, watching Xavier play us tonight in San Antonio!!!!!! CHOKE!!!!!!!!
