Hows it going so far man?
Out of town this weekend but when I get back I'm starting the plumbing now that I've got all pieces needed to do so. I'm hoping to get it filled with water by next weekend.

Finished the return side of the plumbing for the most part and the inside of the overflow. The last thing I need is a barb fitting for the end of the return so I can soft plumb to my return pump. Going to try and order that tomorrow. Other than that, it should be good to fill up with water.

So I got the tank in place. Just have to create the scape and then I can get the water in.

Pushed myself to create the scape tonight so I can finally get this tank filled with water. Turned out alright. I'm not the best when designing scapes. Rocks were pretty large also which made it a little bit more difficult to work with. Just going to let the rodi system do its job and make 75 gallons of water for me.

Yeah those are big. Now you just accumulate smaller pieces and some shelf pieces and fill it in as you go.

Well I didn't want to put too much rock in there to the point where it seems crowded. I tried to make it look cleaner by having more space between each island of rocks and I also made sure they had plenty of room for water to flow behind as well. If there's one thing I learned from my current tank, it's that more rock isn't always better. It just clutters the tank and gives detritus more spots to build up in.

A little update:
We are about half way full.

And we are full ladies and gentlemen!

Only had a slight issue:
Small leak where the union meets the red pipe. In the process of fixing it. Then I can turn everything on.

I think I fixed the leak situation. Got the salt added to the tank. Currently at 1.022 salinity. We have officially started the cycle process.

Nice man. Let's get that salinity to 1.025-6

Nice looking setup man.
Those lights like to make zoas see through no matter how much you adjust.
Have the same setup over a 60 gallon frag tank.

Everything seems to be adjusting well. GSP I figured was going to be finicky but I’m sure it’ll pop out in a few days.
