Hi Guys!
My name is Andre Takahashi.
I wanted to share one of my tanks that completed 2 years last September.

Tank is 140 cm x 75 cm x 50 cm.
I have a very large sump so I estimate my total volume system is around 650-700 liters.

Aquascape was made with lots of Marco Rocks Premium Shelf, Foundation and a few Reef Saver.

Tank started running in September 2021

For the lights I’m using 3 Illumagic X4 and 2 Illumagic Vitamini 1200 SuperActinic.

September 2022.

I do water changes twice a month using Reeflowers Caledonia Coral Salt and daily dose Reeflowers Balling Set (4 part dosing).
Weekly I also dose Reeflowers B-Color and F-Color.
I also dose daily Colombo Coral Vits.

September 2023

I really love your rock scape! That couldn't have been easy building!
Thanks!
The hard part was to take the aquascape from my office where I made it to the tank.
A 15 min drive that seemed to take three times more.
Underneath the sandbed there are some Foundation rock almost the same size of the hanging arm to balance the weight.

Impressive! You had a plan and saw it through to the beautiful reef it is today. How do you manage growth and trimming of corals being so close to the surface?
Lately I’m a but lazy and not trimming much.
When I trim I try to just cut the corals that are touching and maintain the colonies symmetry.

That is one impressive tank!
Thank you very much!

Great work and stellar growth. Ty for sharing. Appreciate the clam.
I appreciate it!
The Squamosa Clam has been with me for about 7 years and is one of my favorites. My favorite fish is a female clownfish that is with me for 20 years now.

Here are some pics I took today.
Sorry my nem closed when the pictures were taken.

That angled full tank shot is my favorite. You have definitely done the "shelf aquascape" style justice. Perfectly executed

Beautiful, thanks for sharing

Darren
Thank you!

I don't normally write, but I love your aquascape so much I had to...it's inspirational for me....tell me about the Copperband and how it does with the SPS...I'm getting one soon myself for aiptasia plus it's a unique beauty
My Copperband has been along since the beginning of this tank.
I actually have a lot of aiptasia in my oveflow box, so the Copperband along with a couple of Peppermint Shrimp keeps the display clean.
It doen't nip my sps nor my clam, so it's a great fish for me.

Outstanding! IMO...TOTY!
Thank you very much!
Hope to become Reef Of The Month someday, if not with this tank with future others!

Wow! Tank is stunning.
Beautiful scape and beautiful tank! Love the look you created.

That aquascape is amazing!
Well done.
Thank you! I tried to make something different and it worked out! Very glad you all enjoyed

Nice!
I'm too much of a wimp to even think about a long open shelf like that -- looks awesome.

P.S. Your last name had me expecting your tank to be surrounded by telescopes,,, but only observational astronomers are likely to get that reference.
Think about it in the next aquascape!
I had to Google it and looks like Takahashi Telescopes are pretty good right?
