Really well done ! I’m assuming a lot of rock in the sump for more surface area for your biological filtration.
In my sump there I use around 4 liters of ceramic media, chaetomorpha refugium and some Reeflowers Activated Carbon.
I’ll post a picture of my sump later this week after I clean it up a bit to look good :grinning-face-with-sweat::grinning-face-with-sweat::grinning-face-with-sweat:

I got a message regarding my Illumagic X4 program.
I use the Bluetooh version an in the app it comes with some premade programs.
P3 is designed for SPS and I’ve been using it with great results in this and other tanks I’ve built.
Just set it and forget it.

Hi Guys!
My name is Andre Takahashi.
I wanted to share one of my tanks that completed 2 years last September.

Tank is 140 cm x 75 cm x 50 cm.
I have a very large sump so I estimate my total volume system is around 650-700 liters.

Aquascape was made with lots of Marco Rocks Premium Shelf, Foundation and a few Reef Saver.

Tank started running in September 2021
IMG_7726.jpeg

For the lights I’m using 3 Illumagic X4 and 2 Illumagic Vitamini 1200 SuperActinic.

September 2022.

I do water changes twice a month using Reeflowers Caledonia Coral Salt and daily dose Reeflowers Balling Set (4 part dosing).
Weekly I also dose Reeflowers B-Color and F-Color.
I also dose daily Colombo Coral Vits.

September 2023

I did measured the PAR when the tank was cycling and the values were pretty high actually.
Besides the great PAR, the thing I appreciate most in Illumagic is the spectrum it provides, specially in the lower 380 nm. It really makes a difference for me.

I will be using the Blaze X’s on my new build and can’t wait to see what they can do. I’ll be using the Dalua app to control them and the SPS schedule looks a bit different than yours.

I have been using this schedule since I started using Illumagic.
This is a nano tank I had that used a Blaze Mini and results were pretty awesome.
You definitely won’t regret using the Blaze X series

Nice built, Andre. The rockwork is really well done.
It seems that the corals are very close to the surface though.

What do you believe is the useful spread for the Illumagic X4 lights?
Would they cover 600x600mm surface with sufficient PAR at 50cm depth?

Some colonies are touching the surface currently.

Regarding the X4s it really depends on the type of corals you're planning and your aquascape.
Illumagic X4s has different cover areas for different types of tanks and it uses 75 degree lenses.
60x60 cm is recommened for mixed SPS/LPS tanks.
75x75 cm for LPS dominant.

If you're looking for full SPS from top to bottom think about around 45x45cm.

This is my next full SPS project.
Tank is 85cm (length) x 60cm (width) x 45cm (height)
Light setup: 2 X4s + 2 Vitamini 900 25 cm from surface.
I'm getting around 250-270 µmol/m2/s in the corner of the bottom of the tank

This is a video where I make the PAR measurement of this tank.
It's in Portuguese, but you can see the numbers on the PAR meter.

When making the aquascape always leave around 10-15 cm space from the glass(front, back and lateral) to be able to make the maintenance.
Regarding the aquascape height around 2/3 of the tank height.
If you want SPS, leave at least 15-20 cm space from the rock to the water surface to have space for the corals to grow.
