So I bought my first chalice frag last week and when I purchased the frag they (LFS) told me to superglue the cut edge to one of my rocks instead of having it attached to a plug or rubble. Long story short I got home and realized I did not have the right superglue and decided to try and work with what I got, which led to me to realize just how brittle chalice corals are. So now I've got this frag (2 inches) and its nearly split into two pieces which really freaked me out, but I've left it alone now for a week.
Heres a topdown shot of it in the bottom corner
Do you think its safe to go ahead and glue him down (have correct glue again) or should I let him stay where he is longer? Also the chances of a speedy kickin recovery? I know to keep it in low to moderate light and flow and its in a 30g nano w/ a 150w 20k radium bulb.
