I have a 600 gallon system. In that system I have a 250 DT, 4 Low Boys, a 70, and some sumps. My DT, besides cyano, is pretty much algae free. Almost nothing to worry about. My Low Boys are a completely different story. Each one has different lighting. I have one tank that has T-5’s on it (1 actinic, 2 blue plus, one coral) and it grows all sorts of algae. I have attached a pic. My nitrates are low, around 0.25ppm and my phosphates are 0.05ppm. Does this algae/slime exist because my ratio is off? What do you do to keep your frag racks clean?

To further my post, none of my low boys have the same algae/slime. Each one is different. I find that strange. Also I think it’s weird that one of my tanks is out of control with the stuff in the pics and the one above it is quite clean. But all my frag racks have funk!
