So with my 75 reef ready, it has two 1" holes drilled in the overflow, one drain and one return. I want to have the return be 3/4 PVC. Is anyone aware of a bulkhead fitting that is also an "adapter" in the sense that it fits a 1" bulkhead hole but has 3/4 slip slip fittings to glue PVC into? I would rather not run a bunch of adapters if I don't have to. Want to keep a cleaner look, but will if I have to.

Thanks in advance :)

I believe a Sch80 3/4” will fit in a Sch40 1” hole. Unless it’s already Sch80 in which case never mind.
I'll measure the diameter of the hole, but I believe it was drilled to accept a schedule 40 1" bulkhead

I'll go look in my garage to see if I have any. They would be schedule 80 though?
I don't think that would be a problem. Let me know the measurement, i'm heading home from work in about 20 minutes and i'll measure the hole :)

Can’t you just put a 1”-3/4” reducer bushing in?
I can, but I wanted to avoid a bunch of adapters if I could. If there isn't a bulkhead that will do what I want then i'll go that route :)

6 in one, half dozen in the other.

$0.85 and the problem is solved this afternoon, vs trying to hunt down a specialized bulkhead for $18 that does the exact same thing.

Strongly agree with @Gregg @ ADP ....assuming the current one inch is slip, simply put in a reducer bushing....less than 50 cents....and hardly seen.

Times like these I always wish I had a machine shop in my garage, and that I was a better machinist so I could knock out some plastic injection molds and make whatever.

Good luck Crabs! There are solutions available, try not to sweat over the insignificant details and take the simplest one.

Threaded 1"to 3/4 pvc slip?
Your friend has shared a link to a Home Depot product they think you would be interested in seeing.

1 in. x 3/4 in. PVC Sch. 40 MPT x S Male Reducer Adapter

Don't know how you will be running your plumbing but I just used 1" to 3/4" elbows right before where the line bends to go into the bulkheads. Need a 90 there anyway so no extra parts! Worked well.

What's the actual diameter of the hole?
I have a bunch of extra bulkheads. I'll check my stash for you.
