Hi everyone - can someone please help identify what this is in my zoa? It does not seem to bother my zoa but is definitely spreading in the area. It is only in this particular zoa and I have dipped it twice now with no results.

Looks like tube sponges, are they hard or soft?

They are soft. If they are tube sponges should I be concerned about tank takeover at all?
Should be fine. They're good filter feeders. If you want to lower the amount best bet is to reduce the amount of free floating nutrients in the tank. More water changes or feed less.
