Need help identifying...

The orange spot on the rock. It has actually grown a little now and had turned a darker shade of orange/red.

It looks as if it is part of the rock...cannot be pulled off like a mushroom.

What do you guys think?

Sponge, else some sort of colonial tunicate.

Looked up that tunicate...does not look like that...it is not raised off the rock at all. I'm gonna say sponge. Thanks all for your thoughts
