Hey everyone, I bought a dropoff aquarium and need help deciding on a LED fixture. The dimensions are as follows:
- shallow section is 18" long, 16" wide, 11" tall, with 4.5" of the back having an overflow box at the top of it, so more like a 13.5" long shallow section.
- deep section is 9.5" long, 23.25" deep.

I am hoping to keep sticks and a clam in the shallow portion and brain corals at the bottom of the tank. I'm hoping to see if I can get away with a single LED fixture (at least for now, I may get more later if needed due to shadowing) since the tank is pretty shallow in the SPS section and I'll only need like 100~ par at the sandbed. I've had another member recommend me the reef breeders led since it's a long form factor one. Would something like AI Prime32 or XR15 cover this area? Afterall I don't really need a large coverage area. Appreciate any feedback, thanks!

Evening,

Cool looking tank. I would probably go with reef breeder. All 3 would work, the AI and XR May throw shadows and you will lose a little par further at the outer area of the tank.

On the AI did you mean AI prime 16 or Hydra 32? You could Also try 2 primes. Still thing reef breeder may be best for coverage.

Thanks! And I meant the hydra, and thank you for the input!
