This is/was a nightmare! Everything worked out pretty good!!! I don't have a spare overflow box, so we had to destroy the old tank (less than a year old) to take the overflow and the white acrylic sheet (bare bottom tank).I'm almost 100% certain that the bottom of that tank is tempered. But, the sides might not be and you could drill those, like a california setup on the back. Or you could use an overflow box. Hope everything works out for you, keep us posted.
I was scared because of the sticker warnings, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I hate to see my anthias in 5g buckets.I would guess the sides are not tempered as Rad said above but hard to tell. According to the sticker, you may be out of luck. I can certainly understand your rush to get it done though. As posted above, I certainly wish you the best. Do you have any reefing friends that may have a spare tank in the garage that you could use? Nothing worse than a leaking tank!
