First, factor out the gcf on top. The gcf is 3x^2 on top.
Thus, you get 3x^2(2x-3) on top. On the denominator, you factor out 6x. Thus, you get 6x(2x-3) on the bottom. Both 2x-3 on top and bottom cancel each other so you are left with
3x^2/6x. 3/6 reduces to 1/2 and x^2/x=x. The answer is x/2.

Ohh goody math is my favorite. Cramster.com is pretty good, if you sign up you can post problems and somebody will help you solve it.

need help with any more?

wow...that was so many math classes ago! I wish I had the time to help you, but I've got a hugggggge project due fri that I'm soooo far behind on.

advice. You gotta learn how to cancel everything out...aka aka if theres x^3 on top and x^2 on the bottom...then ur left with x on top. same goes for the number.

wait till you get to the problems like this that use the quadratic function in order to solve them =)

ohh you can punch any math question into wolframalpha.com and get a answer. It works for advanced stuff too like laplace transforms exc.

ok that helps me out but on this one 16-x squared over x cubed - 2x squared - 8x how do you factor them out?

16-x^2= -1(x^2-16)= -1(x-4)(x+4)

x^3-2x^2-8x= x(x^2-2x-8)= x(x-4)(x+2)

Thus, you get -1(x-4)(x+4)/x(x-4)(x-2). x-4's cancel out on top and bottom, so you are left with -(x+4)/x(x+2)
