It's kind of ironic I have the same blastos that periodically get completely covered in sand by my engineer gobies, and I have to dig the sand from around them. I also have never seen any issues from the sand other than they aren't happy when I first uncover them.You're welcome :)
I have those same Blastos although I don't have a specific name. They're pretty bullet proof. Mine have been knocked over and dropped into the sand countless times before I finally glued them down. lol They open back up every time and are still growing.
