Need help with adding first fish to 75 gallon

So I have a red sea reefer 350 that has finished cycling and i am ready to add my first fish.
Im thinking of adding one bangai cardinal captive bred and one green reef chromis
What do you guys think?

both of those fish need to be in schools, i would do the cardinalfish, so get 3, i think those fish are really cool!

I think those should be fine. Generally you want to start with the most peaceful fish and work up to the most aggressive and those are pretty peaceful.

i think all options are fine, make sure they are quarantined for at least2 weeks min, you wanna Qt for 30 days realistically, this will hopefully avoid any parasites entering ur system

i do a four week QT, start with copper power, then after that move over to prazipro for internal parasites

A single bangaii and a single chromis will be just fine.

Read up on Chromis. These can be evil little buggers to add to your tank - if you do plan to add them then add them last so everything else in the tank has established territory before introducing these things.

Suggestion: Pair of Ocellaris Clowns. Economical. Goofy little fish. They’ll claim a 6” cube of the tank and won’t bother much outside of that.

there are so many breeder clowns, i think you should look into them! you might find one you like

Skip the chromis for now, as they can be aggressive and should be added at the end of the list.

You can do some more thinking and decide later if you really want them.

Get one banggai cardinal.

Springeri Damsels are pretty darn peaceful. I added a pair to my tank a couple of weeks ago and they haven't bothered anything.

Banggai Cardinals are grouping/schooling fish. I'm sure they prefer having 2 or 3 "friends".
