I have the Red Sea reefer 525 currently and have two DMP-40’s one on each of the side walls. They are working very well. I want to add two more on each side this time more towards the bottom back wall corner to eliminate dead spots behind the rock.
Do you guys think a dmp-10 on each side is sufficient? Will the waves hit each other? Or should I do a 15 or 20
Thanks!

I'm not a expert with these pumps, but I did buy a pair of the 20's to try on my 66 gallon tank ( 32x24x20).
I don't think there would be enough flow with the 10's on your tank.
First will they work on the glass thickness?
It's ok if the flow hits each other. Turbulence is good.
Maybe a bigger model?

Yeah well I was saying if the flow hits each other it means the whole back is covered ..I’d put them along the floor towards back on side walls (not too low where the sand would be blowing around). Dmp10s would fit the glass thickness, .59inches is max and that’s what my glass thickness is

Not sure on the size of the dmp40 compared to an mp40 but here is what I did. I have a 4ft long tank 2ft deep and I originally had a single mp40 on each end. Having a dead spot in the back I wanted to add another, so I reconfigured. I put two on the back wall spaced just outside my overflow box( they are prob about 24 inches apart) about 3/4 up the back wall and i put one about 10inches off the bottom corner (about an inch away from touching the back glass)on one side blowing lengthwise across the back wall. I get way more evenly distributed turbulent flow in this configuration and excellent export, nothing settles on the bottom. Two on the back I run reef crest @60 during the day and the side one reef crest @45 during the day.
