I have an older Apex Jr, I have a AFS, WXM, PM1, DOS and Energy Bar connected to it and it has been automatic for years now. Since this is the older model, I connected to WIFI through an access point set up from an extender. Worked great. Recently I upgraded to fiber internet and when trying to reconnect the Apex, I can't get it to connect to the internet at all. I have tried the access point again, as well as directly to the router. My question is, Is there something with the older Apex jrs that won't allow them to connect to the newer technologies? I would be happy to reset the Jr and reconfigure everything, but as soon as I do that, I will lose all of my automation and right now I can't afford a new module to get it back up and running again. Thank you.

I sounds like since you upgraded your home network, the older equipment is not connecting to the new router.

Most of the connectivity from reefing equipment connects via 2.4K. Newer home router say that they connect to 2.4k and 5K, but really connect to 5k wifi devices. I have found to use an extender that connects via 2.4K and 5K separately. I have a Netgear extender to get around this issue.
